A STEM-integrated approach to Environmental Education
The students of E Class, with the guidance of their EFL teacher Myrto Nerantzi, applied the experimental method to investigate the effect of increased CO2 emissions on Earth’s climate.
They worked in groups to set the hypothesis, define the variables and design an experiment that demonstrates the relation between high concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere and global warming.
The project integrates the results of the Erasmus-funded project Skills building for environmental sustainability through Astronomy that our school is implementing this year.
